Kennedy Quay
Cork City Docklands
Cork City Docklands – Mixed use development with planning permission for almost 1,000,000 square feet of retail and commercial space and over 1,500 homes.
Kennedy Quay is a landmark mixed-use regeneration project in Cork City Docklands, with full planning permission for almost one million square feet of retail and commercial space and over 1,500 new homes. Positioned on one of the most significant urban waterfront sites in Ireland, the development will transform a historic industrial quarter into a vibrant, sustainable district for living, working, and leisure.
‘Phase 1 has now commenced with the construction of 103 apartments on Kennedy Quay. The Flour Mills apartments are being developed by O’Callaghan Properties in partnership with the Land Development Agency (LDA) and are due for completion by the end of 2028.’
As a cornerstone of the wider Docklands masterplan, Kennedy Quay will create a dynamic new urban neighbourhood that strengthens Cork’s role as a growing European city. The scale and ambition of the project will deliver major economic, social, and cultural benefits, providing high-quality employment space, modern homes, and an activated waterfront that redefines how people live and work in the city.
